Inside Lever Golf: We are making a difference

As seen on

Lever Golf is making a difference in lives throughout the country. If you are a Lever Golfer, you know the feeling of accomplishing something you once thought impossible. You now wake up knowing you have a repeatable golf swing. The traditional golfer has no idea of the positive language Lever Golfers speak. Most Lever Golfers once played with a traditional swing. I played for twenty-plus years, spent thousands of dollars on the best instructors in the area, and held a scratch handicap. But unfortunately, golf was not fun with the traditional swing. Not to mention it beat up my body. The anxiety of standing over a ball and running through a checklist of things I needed to execute to pull off a shot was not worth it. Until the traditional golfer gives Lever Golf a try, they will continue to be the picture you see when you look up the word frustration in the dictionary. There’s no excuse now; you have a choice. I did not have a choice almost thirty years ago. Once you know the basics of Lever Golf, you can progress on your own. Lever Golf is so simple that you can fix it with a phone or Facetime lesson if you should have an issue.

Another byproduct of Lever Golf happened about a year and a half ago. As I was giving my daughter Bri a Lever Golf lesson, the club flew out of her hand as she launched it fifteen feet in the air. Bri, my wife, and I became spectators as we watched the club tumble with perfect descent to the back windshield of my Honda Pilot. Fortunately, the club landed on the roof of the garage. No harm, no foul. Bri ran into the house immediately, crying about her wet hands. So aware Bri had hyperhidrosis her whole life; I had no idea it affected her that much.

Hyperhidrosis is excessive sweating caused by an overactive nerve. Hyperhidrosis affects 2.8 percent of the U.S.population. We knew as a family that we needed to do everything we could to fix this problem. So everyone did what we all do in today’s world. We took to the internet. We quickly learned they had all kinds of remedies, everything from lotions to botox injections but nothing that would solve the condition permanently. Then enter Dr. Basseri, who performs a safe procedure for hyperhidrosis. Bri had her life-changing procedure with Dr. Basseri in May of 2021.

Things came full circle. Bri now works as the patient education and social media coordinator at the Center for Hyperhidrosis in Beverly Hills, California. Bri and millions of others with hyperhidrosis have a lifetime of dealing with everyday tasks in a different reality. As a result, they avoid shaking someone’s hand, wearing particular clothing colors, or participating in an activity. This is a reminder that sometimes, the small things in life may not be so small.

As Bri continues to adjust to her new life with dry hands, her Lever Golf game continues to improve. If you want your game to improve, visit us at AQUA Driving Range in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida: home of Lever Golf. For information or to schedule a seminar in your area, call me at 859-652-1545 or visit my website at levergolf.com.

Remember: If you are not doing Lever Golf, you will get beat by someone who is.
